What we collect

Account information: email address and phone number used for verification and sign-in.
Profile information: preferred name, age, gender, city, photos, Jewish background, languages, height, occupation, and other details you choose to share publicly.
Questionnaire responses: your answers to the private matchmaking questionnaire, including values, lifestyle, relationship goals, and preferences. Many answers are kept private by default.
Verification documents: government-issued ID and any notes you submit as part of the safety review process. These are visible only to authorized reviewers.
Usage data: device type, approximate location, feature usage, and error logs to help us improve the app.
Communication data: messages between matched members, sent through our platform.

How we use your information

To operate the service: verify your identity, build your profile, generate compatibility matches, and enable messaging.
To improve matches: your private questionnaire answers are used only by our matching system to find compatible members. They are never shown to other members unless you explicitly choose to share them.
To keep the community safe: review uploaded photos and IDs, enforce our policies, and prevent abuse.
To communicate with you: send match alerts, verification codes, and important service updates.
To improve the product: analyze aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns and fix bugs.

Public vs. private

Public profile: only the information you choose to display, such as your first name, photos, age, city, and selected background details.
Private questionnaire answers: deeper questions about values, lifestyle, substance use, politics, and relationship preferences stay hidden from other members by default.
You control your answers: you can review and update most responses at any time from your profile or questionnaire.
ID documents and reviewer notes are never shared with other members.

Who we share data with

Other members: only the profile information you choose to make public, plus any content you send in messages to a mutual match.
Service providers: trusted infrastructure partners who host our database, storage, authentication, and messaging services. They only process data on our behalf and under strict confidentiality.
Legal authorities: only when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our members.
We do not sell, rent, lend, or otherwise distribute your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, marketers, or any other third party.

Your choices and rights

Update your information: edit your profile and questionnaire answers at any time.
Delete your account: contact us to permanently delete your profile, answers, messages, and uploaded media. We will remove the data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
Export your data: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Control cookies and analytics: use the Cookie & analytics preferences link in the footer to change your consent choices.
